On Monday, March 29th, there will most likely not be a presentation called "Pussies, Pens and Politics" co-sponsored by the Women's Center Club, the Women's Studies department and LGBTQA.

The event, which had been scheduled since early last semester, was deemed "inappropriate," and the Women's Center is not able to use their SGA allotted budget to bring the group to campus.

A couple of years ago, a West Chester University student created a facebook group called "WCU Late Night/Safety Bus."

The group promoted the idea of having a bus that would make a trip from South Campus to Market Street in order to give students a safe way of getting to the bars and back to their apartments.

Well, I'm afraid that your old pals at The Quad will be going away for a little while.

No, no it's nothing to be concerned about. Just one of those hiccups in the schedule that comes along every now and again. Imagine, two whole weeks without your fix of my in-print craziness! Whatever will you do? How can a person be asked to endure such a thing?

My advice to you is to just soldier on.

Women's magazines, movies, literature, and television inspire women to get down to the nitty gritty details of the men in their lives, or the potential men in the future.

I was talking with a friend of mine the other day and they said that being an adult sucks. They went on to talk about taxes, responsibilities, and a slew of other things. She then asked me what I made of all of it. I suggested that she get a ball pit and not worry about the other things since it's just part of being an adult, and that isn't all that bad since it's our turn to decide what being an adult actually means.

To the Editor,

Recently the Women's Center Club has had their throats stuffed with red tape regarding their upcoming event "Pussies, Pens, and Politics." As a student of West Chester University, I am outraged at such censorship and sexism. The Women's Center Club is being questioned by a (male) administrator who seeks to "protect" female students from harsh language.

As the snow continues to fall outside, warm weather seems impossible to think of. Choosing to work for that beach body also seems like something there is plenty of time to do.

Desiree Gaunt and Catherine Baskin, two students minoring in adapted physical education, have already began preparing for the New Jersey Marathon, on May 2, in Longwood, N.
At this point, most people have given up their New Year's resolutions and gotten back into old habits.

Dead, dormant, vegetative and comatose are all ways to describe "chivalry" by many West Chester University students.

The act of chivalry is to show politeness and courtesy toward women. It is about holding the door for a woman, but also the elderly man who is ten steps behind her.
The reading of prose and "olde-fashioned" language is connotatively determined as difficult to understand and as attractive to decipher as the scrawled note on one's car apologizing for denting the back bumper.
