The Quad is the student newspaper of West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Founded in 1932 as Quad Angles, it adopted its current title in 1975. The Quad is entirely written and edited by students at West Chester University.
West Chester University is a comprehensive, state-supported university with an enrollment of approximately 13,000 undergraduate and graduate students. It is located in West Chester, a suburban community 25 miles west of Philadelphia and 10 miles north of Wilmington, Delaware. West Chester is the county seat of Chester County, which is generally considered part of the Greater Philadelphia region.
