Aramark has been West Chester University's food services provider for the past 19 years, and is closing in on the end of their renewed contract.

Rec. center project back on

Talks and rumors about the new Recreation Center for West Chester University have been circulating for a while, and it is finally coming together. This project has been yanked around and changed so many times that it has become difficult to fully understand the situation.

Don't take away my Chick-Fil-A

According to the Dining Advisor Board members, Aramark is considering a switch between two of their franchised food choices: Chick-Fil-A and Subway. The plan is to move Subway to where Montague's Deli stands and then move Chick-Fil-A to South Side and then bring something to fill Chick-Fil-A's spot, possibly an expansion of the Grille, which currently serves burgers and cheesesteaks.

On Thursday, Nov. 13, a group of WCU students presented new poetry from their compilation CD, "An Evening in Winter". The project consisted of original poetry written and read by Luke Stromberg, Adam Wassel, Zach Burkhart, Luke Bauerlein, Matt Stromberg, and Dan D'Aprile.

"Gears of War 2" is everything a next generation video game should be. Fans of the first game will be very happy with this sequel seeing how all areas of the first "Gears" have been drastically improved. The campaign mode of "Gears of War 2" may be the most impressive aspect of the game.

FAGAN LEADS THE WAY

For the fifth consecutive season, PSAC East Coach of the Year Bill Zwaan led the West Chester University Golden Rams (9-3) into an NCAA D-II Playoff game. For the first time since November 18, 2006, the Golden Rams came out on the winning end of a playoff game.
