Literary magazine hosts reading, students display talent

Students filed into the Philips Autograph Library at 7 p.m. on April 24 for Daedalus’ 40th anniversary reading. The publication was founded in 1972 by Dr. Theodora West. Daedalus, West Chester University’s literary magazine, celebrated its 40th edition by hosting their annual reading. Full story

One of my favorite aspects about being a student journalist has been meeting new people and learning about what they do. I recently won the Mary Anderson Media Award for my contributions to the student media and in the nomination letter, it said that my writing has given a voice to the voiceless. Full story

    The Lady Rams made an early exit from the double-elimination PSAC Tournament Wednesday as they lost their first two games to IUP 1-4 and Mercyhurst 6-9.     The West Chester baseball team secured the top seed in the PSAC East last week by taking three games of four from rival Bloomsburg. After a bit of a stretch in which the offense was not clicking on all cylinders, the Rams’ bats exploded to score 29 runs in four games as they took the season series from the Huskies.
