About The Quad
The Quad is the official student newspaper of West Chester University of Pennslyvania. In continuous publication since 1932, The Quad has proudly served as the publication of record for generations of WCU student journalists.
The Quad is currently published 20 times a year, on 10 Mondays during the Fall Semester and 10 Mondays during the Spring Semester. We also occasionally publish additional special issues during the school year. Our newsprint circulation is currently 3,500 issues.
The Quad is run solely by students and is not altered or edited in any way by University faculty, staff or administration. The University has no prior review of the content.

Softball ousted from playoffs early after losing first two games
The Lady Rams made an early exit from the double-elimination PSAC Tournament Wednesday as they lost their first two games to IUP 1-4 and Mercyhurst 6-9. Being the third and final seed in the East Division, West Chester (28-25) had to face the three seed from the Central Division, IUP (25-12-1), in the first game of the tournament Wednesday morning.

Rams take three of four from Bloom, earn top seed in East
The West Chester baseball team secured the top seed in the PSAC East last week by taking three games of four from rival Bloomsburg. After a bit of a stretch in which the offense was not clicking on all cylinders, the Rams’ bats exploded to score 29 runs in four games as they took the season series from the Huskies.

WCU hosts Last Chance Meet to finish 2012 season
