A gift that may take a little more time is a personalized scrapbook. Since this present requires a good amount of effort, do not plan on creating one for every person on a holiday gift list. Scrapbooks can be purchased at local craft stores or Wal-Mart or KMart.

Along with the scrapbook, stickers, markers, and various other decorating tools are essential. Using your saved photos, work on designing a book that captures experiences that should be remembered forever. Use personal sayings or quotes to describe certain photos or memories, and do not forget to include dates for each event.

Although all this cutting, pasting, and writing can seem like too much work for one person, the end result is something that is not only impressive but also touching. This entire gift can be created for a fairly low amount of money, but make sure to set aside enough time to get everything completed by the holidays. For those gift givers who absolutely refuse to attempt any sort of craft, there is still hope. Clothing has long been a perfect holiday gift for anyone that appreciates good style and taste.

Unfortunately the high prices of popular brand name apparel have led to many empty wallets and fewer actual purchases. Finally a concept has come along that changes the whole method of shopping for clothing. Consignment shops have often been associated with worn-down, second-hand, and out-of-style fashions that should have been thrown out instead of resold. That could not be further from the truth. Many consignment shops have strict regulations that put them in a completely different category than a store like Goodwill or Salvation Army.

A local consignment shop named Christine's Consignment Boutiques is a perfect place to find something for everyone this holiday season. Christine's is located at 105 Westtown Rd., right off of Market Street. This shop has a wide variety of clothing for both men and women, and specializes in brand name apparel. Gift certificates are also available for purchase. Name brands such as Gap, J.Crew, Banana Republic, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, and Armani are found on each and every rack. These clothes are practically brand new since nothing over two years old is accepted or displayed.
