2008 Woodie Awards
In their fourth game back from a month long holiday break, Mark Gonsalvesʼ Golden Rams lost 4-3 to the Blue Hens from the University of Delaware at Ice Line Friday night. This was a rematch of an Oct. 1 matchup, the season opener for both clubs, which West Chester won.
After a successful fall season for West Chester University athletics, the spring teams hope to produce just as good, if not better, results. The menʼs baseball team hired longtime Wilmington (Del.) College coach Matt Brainard to run their program this year after former coach Chris Calciano left for Georgia College & State University.
Swimming & Diving West Chester Universityʼs menʼs and womenʼs swimming and diving teams both swept Clarion University and Southern Connecticut State University Saturday at Graham Natatorium. This two day event began Friday night and ended Saturday morning.
