The annual Miss WCU pagaent took place on Sat. Jan. 29. Contestants competed in several different categories including talent, formal wear and casual wear. April Halligan won the competition and was crowned Miss WCU 2005. Her platform was entitled "Awareness of Multiple Schlerosis." Other platforms of contestants included, "Anorexia Nervosa," "Music Education in Schools," and "Drinking and Driving."
