Second-year student Jillian Michelle Frank died last Wednesday, November 8, 2006, as a result of an automobile accident on Route 202. Ms. Frank was a political science major at WCU and had transferred from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In a e-mail sent from the Vice President of Student Affairs, Dr. Matthew Bricketto, condolences were sent to the Frank family and members of the University community were urged to keep them in their thoughts and prayers in the coming days. The Quad chose not to persue comments from the friends and family of Ms. Frank out of respect for their loss. SGA President Kyle Mullins extends his sympathies to the Frank family in his weekly letter which can be found on the second page of this issue of The Quad.
