Under sun splashed skies the West Chester University Lady Rams softball dropped a double header on Saturday to the Bloomsburg Huskies at the south campus field.

In the first game of the afternoon, West Chester fell 2-1 to Bloomsburg as the only run West Chester would score all day came in the bottom of the first inning as Stefani Kerbacher scored on Megan Harbaugh had an RBI single. Shannon Padula suffered the loss as she pitched a complete game against the nationally ranked (number 22 in the country) Bloomsburg Huskies.

Bloomsburg's Sheelin Fisher out dueled the Lady Rams' Shannon Padula in game two. Padula pitched her second complete game of the day as the Lady Rams fell 2-0 in game two of the double header. Fisher gave up only three hits to the Lady Rams as Kristin McCoy and Jaime McComb were all the offense West Chester could muster up.

West Chester fell to 19-25 on the year (3-17 in the PSAC). The Lady Rams travel to Kutztown on Tuesday for a double header against the Golden Bears.
