Parent(s) and guardians may worry about their college-bound child not getting enough to eat. Now parents can be assured that their children are getting the food they want when they want it. Papa John's introduces the Papa Card, a reloadable gift card that guardians can purchase and send to their hungry child away at college. The Papa Card can be reloaded online at any time in increments of five dollars from ten dollars to two-hundred dollars. This can also assure parents that students are spending their money responsibly.

When it comes to late night cravings, most students choose to order pizza to calm their appetite after a long night of studying. When 30 West Chester University students were polled, 60 percent said they would choose pizza over other delivery food. Students often get tired of the same old cafeteria food day in and day out and simply pick up the phone to order themselves a hot, fresh pizza that will be delivered to their door within minutes. The Papa Card also is flexible and can be used for any pizzas, sides, drinks and even gratuity.

"The Papa card is a great gift idea," Joseph McLaughlin, store manager of the Papa John's on S. High St. in West Chester said. "It gives the gift of a meal that is great quality and is from a store people recognize. People love free things, so make it a meal or two." McLaughlin said that the card is very user-friendly and convenient. "The card is also great because it can be used at any Papa John's location," McLaughlin said.

Students no longer have to worry about paying the delivery person with cash. They simply can use their Papa Card for all purchases. The Papa Card works just like any other gift card. When you call to place an order simply explain the use of a Papa Card and read the number on the back of the card. The amount of the order will be deducted from the balance on the card. The cashier will say how much remains on the card after the purchase.

Papa John's also has a web site, www.papajohns.com, where students can browse when unsure of what their taste buds are calling for. On the web site, Papa John's has a complete online menu with all of their specialty pizzas, sides, drinks and hot deals. Students can also place an order online and their food will be delivered as it would be if ordered by phone.

McLaughlin stresses the benefits of placing an order online.

"For the best deals customers should always look at the website before making a purchase," he said. He reminds customers to enter any promotional code to receive free items such as a two liter bottle of soda.
