West Chester dropped its final home game 4-1 to visitor Lafayette, Wednesday.

The game marked the third straight home loss after pulling into the number four seed in the Atlantic-10.

West Chester opened the scoring behind Shelly Brooks' team-leading 9th goal of the season. Sara Conrad and Jessica Nellis each recorded assists.

However, Lafayette worked its way into West Chester territory and tallied four consecutive goals.

Maggie Condon and Amanda Saber each added two goals for Lafayette as they escaped with high spirits.

Kelsey Andersen played the entire game for Lafayette allowing one goal while making one save.

The game marked the final home game for six seniors including Brooks and Conrad, who are the number one and two goal-scorers, respectively.

Joelle Zarefoss played the first 40 minutes of the contest, but allowed three goals. Brittany Harding played the remained of the contest allowing one goal while making a save.

On Saturday afternoon, West Chester defeated the pesky Lady Explorers of La Salle University, 3-0 despite being outshot 15-9.

A rain-soaked first half solved little as both teams played to a draw through the first 35 minutes of play.

West Chester then erupted for a three-goal second half to dispatch the Lady Explorers.

Conrad closed out her West Chester career with a highlight goal in the 42nd minute. The goal marked Conrad's team-high ninth goal of the year. Brooks also has nine goals.

Shortly thereafter, Lauren DeBois tallied a goal.

Jessica Nellis then got into the action recording the Ram's third and final goal.

Behind goal, Zarefoss played the entire 70 minutes and recorded four saves.

For the Explorers, Whitney Madron led the team with five shots. Ellen Axelsen played the entirety of the game behind goal recording three saves and allowing three goals.
