Pulitzer-winning poet Natasha Trethewey visits

On Wednesday, Oct. 1, the West Chester University Poetry Center was honored to host a craft session and reading by the award-winning, nationally-recognized poet Natasha Trethewey. Her work has been published in numerous poetry reviews and journals, and her collections of poetry including 'Domestic Work' (2000) and 'Bellocq's Ophelia' (2002) have earned her critical acclaim.

West Chester to hold 2008 International Festival

West Chester University will be hosting the 2008 International Festival to celebrate the third anniversary of West Chester University's International Day the week of Monday Oct. 6, 2008. Festivities will run through Thursday focusing on the many achievement of Latino, African, and Asian cultures with a variety of exciting events and performances.

The Alumni Association gets involved with Homecoming

The WCU Alumni Association gets especially involved during this special time of year as they invite all alumni and friends of the University to come back and participate in a timeless tradition of Homecoming weekend.

These experiences of fellow WCU students around campus range from within the United States to a variety of international destinations. Along with the travel stories, they also have some travel tips for others hoping to see the world.
